Albino Corn Snake

I picked up this little 15" beauty today for $45.I promise to keep better tabs on this one than I did with the sand boa I just lost.Im still looking for that one tho.

Hmmmmmm After going through tons of classifieds from kingsnake.com,the cheapest I could find was $60 shipped.Maybe the fact that I didnt have to pay shipping that was the lube.

Beautiful snake!! Corns are my favorites. Definatly keep that one in check, corns are excellent escape artists. $45 is a bit steep but with shipping prices fluctuating like a 15 year old boys hormones its not so bad. When I order corns, and tarantulas for that matter, I order 3 or more so that the shipping price basically pays for itself. Good luck with it!!!! :clap:

I regularly see baby Albino Corns at reptile shows around the country for around $15. Being that you're in Ohio, and there are a couple reptile shows per month there....why in the heck would you pay so much for that snake? I mean, its your money, but it doesn't make sense to me lol.

Nope, thats a completely normal looking Albino Coen above. All white, with red eyes is a Blizzard. Got any pics?

This is probably a silly question, but wouldn't an albino lack all pigmentation? Isn't this variation just amelanistic?

You are correct..."Albino" is just the common pet trade term for any reptile that is amelanistic.
