If this is post is not allowed let me know. Anyways I'm from Alberta and would like to know if all the Canadian millipede species are legal to keep here? I plan on keeping Harpaphe haydeniana at some point if I can get my hands on a pair, I know narceus americanus is legal here and they sell them at the reptile store. I really can't find a prohibited invert list, if I could I wouldn't be posting this, maybe I didn't search enough.

Noticeable for your province. Certainly want to check national law, then provincial law, then municipal law. Many towns and cities have laws that ban certain exotic pets.

Anything that is a potential agriculture risk is an automatic "worthy of investigating". Menajng, stuff that eats plants or harbors pathogens. If I remember right even tropical snails are a no go for this reason in Canada, ie. African land snails. But absolutely check official documentation from the source and save it in case of issues. Native species tend to follow more conservation of game related government agencies, less so economic and agricultural ones.
