Nah, they would go a few feet away but run right back to me. I stayed fairly close to them because of my worry with hawks. I kept them either in a shadded tree or in our screen porch.

ratties are generally good at staying near home base. I love those tree pics! So cute. and that last one shows how much they love each other, very sweet.

wow your rats are so cute :D

i'm not sure if i'm going to get anymore after mine die b/c they are so short lived... but i was wonder do males have the same problem with tumors that females do? i'm really sick of mine getting tumors
