I found some sort of Agelenopsis spp spider on my front porch last night and as my mom has the house sprayed :)evil: ) i decided to pop him in a kk and bring him inside to the safety of my kitchen until i was sure he was alright and he is pretty awesome! very webby and super aggressive to anything that touches it! just dropped a large cricket (probably too big for him:8o ) and he ran right at it and missed and chased it over his water dish and finally grabbed it by a back leg and held it there as the cricket tried to run. then with one bight right behind the head and it granted the cricket a quick end. quite thrilling! i'll try and get pictures.

I love me some T's but my lynx spider, wolf spiders and now this guy are really growing on me!

and the have a lot of personality. if i shine a light on a T to check on it it just sits there but if do the same to one of my wold spiders it turns around and runs as if its saying "where the heck is that light coming from" pretty amusing. and watching a wolf spider hunt is just as exciting as a cheetah hunting on the discovery channel
