I hate reddit man. And this had upvotes. People are so stupid MY GOD I hate it. The thread was about a new AFS owner with surprise babies, asking about why the mother ate a baby.

I know the rest of advice is mostly sound, but its so annoying to see people parroting these simply untrue stuff and it's just accepted and not questioned.

Not just that site everywhere. We had a guy recently show up here with a Goliath with mulch looking thorns as substrate, who told him to do so ? He never replied .. these poor animals often die from ignorance. I don’t understand how scorpions survive in the wild it if they eat there babys in captivity all the time.

I've had people copy my comments and make a whole new post in a contradictory subreddit, so people could talk smack about me behind my back, and even they cropped my username out...

Yeah I hate it to, especially in any animal or invert sub. It’s just like a horrid breeding ground for stupidity and the cost are the well being of other life forms. The fact that you’re just not allowed to try and even kindly point out improper practices compounds the issue tenfold
