A couple of my Africans molted. Unsexed Pterinochilus murinus, unsexed Ceratogyrus brachycephalus, female Stromatopelma calceatum, and not an african but my female Psalmopoeus irminia did also.

All of them are very nice T's, but for me the Irminia really shines. Gotta get me some of them !!

Thanks Prewt! The third one is the Stromatopelma calceatum and the last is the Psalmopoeus irminia.

Hi Mike,

i think your C. brachycephalus is just a C. sanderi.

See the ventral face of the Abdomen and take a look at the Subabdominal Band.

Hi Mike,
i think your C. brachycephalus is just a C. sanderi.

See the ventral face of the Abdomen and take a look at the Subabdominal Band.
Could be strictly a C. sanderi if it's WC Timo, or if it's a from a CB lineage it could have some brachycephalus/sanderi hybrid genes in it (just a possibility, if there were ever true "single-band" brachycephalus here to begin with)

Mike, could you post a ventral shot of the specimen? Mainly focusing on if it has a single or double ventral abdominal band.

Also, sorry to crosspost, but for some good information on this topic click HERE .

Here is the ventral shot of the Ceratogyrus brachycephalus, I got this one as a CB baby. Does look more like C. sanderi from the ventral banding or it could be a hybrid.
