Just love showing off his growth rate. The second pic was him at two months old and the first was when I got him. image.jpg image.jpg

Wow that's crazy growth there. Has it ever tried to bite you?
Yes but I'm just too quick. :)

Jesus Christ! Big boy, beautiful animal
He will still double in size before he's fully grown. He eats more than my dogs aswell.

I gave away 1000s of roaches to a pet store here, just had too many. Next time I'll just get one of these.

If you have a bullfrog you'll never have too many roaches. I have lobster, Turkistan, dubia and Madagascar hisser roach colonies and I still have to buy extra crickets and stuff to fill him.

I had one years back, yes the have an incredible growth rate and yes at times you have to watch out for them trying to bite your fingers (over eager eaters with a great feed response). For the record, they are one of few frogs that have prominent teeth (e.g.: actually horny projections in the front of their mouth). I know someone who luckily was wearing a snake glove, was bitten by an African Bullfrog. The frog initially hung on like a pit bull and wouldn't let go. they make great pets though, hardy and reasonably long lived.

Yes they do. The teeth- like projections at the front of the mouth are not as hard as the real teeth at the back of their mouths. If. Frog is biting you you can spray it with the spray bottle and it will let go.

Love how big and chubby that sucker is. Great growth gains. I've always wanted one of these, but I prefer the pacman frog. They don't need as much lighting, heat, or space.
