Ok...I have 3 antlion pupa and today one emerged. It was the smallest one so I suspect a male.

Currently in a large container with branches to climb on.

So the questions
1. What should I do for this guy?

2. Would putting him in the fridge keep him alive longer? I'm worried the other two may not emerge in time but maybe thats not a correct assumption.

3. How/should I feed it?

turn it loose. they don't live long as adults. Once hitting maturaty they only seek to mate.

I've been giving them smashed crixs and water... but as Bayushi said, they live very short.
I don't think that putting them to a freezer would be a good idea. They are very sensitive to low temperatures and will quickly die.

Do you do anything special to get them to feed? I'm hoping that they have some kind of way to emerge all at around the same time...20 or so days for that to happen! I'm thinking with food and water regularly they might last a little longer.

While I could release it I doubt they occur directly in the city I live in.

They were able to find food and water in their tank. Sometimes I was giving them "juicy crix" (hemolyph) with tweezers, just to their mouths.
