I'm curious about these frogs. I really like the way they look and all, but my only thing against them is their inactivity when it isn't meal time. I was wondering though, if I were to say, keep my Pacman frog in a healthy weight limit- not too fat, but normal or chubby- and in a sizable terrarium, would it be possible that the little guy might walk and explore for a little bit every now or then? Unlike the fat lard-bags who only walk when they take a poop and just sink in the substrata...

Nope..I keep Pacmans and feed them about 2 crickets every other day and they stay in the spot for days.. Sorry not much you can do with these lazy fellas. But I would defiantly get one if I were you. Their awesome creatures

Mine, who died at 4 1/2 years this winter from unknown causes:cry:, was just a lump who sat and waited for food. They are the houseplants of the amphibian world, you could say. But they are still cool. I plan on getting another when I can.

Agreed. Thats all they do is sit and wait for there next meal. Cornutas are the same way. Though they are not pacman frogs the giant pixies and dwarf pixies are active.
