Suggestion Account Upgrade/Support

I have been grateful for all of the resources that this forum provides and would love to support it.

I was looking at the arachnosupporter+ package.

Has a monthly recurring donation option been considered?

With the current setup if I was to donate $5 a month, it wouldn't come with any of the additional benefits of the + package even though the yearly total donated would actually end up being greater than a single $50 donation once a year.

$50 a year isn't a lot, but for people on tight budgets, subscribing to a monthly recuring donation can be preferable to making a single larger donation.

It's less impactful and more consistently planned for on my monthly budget to support places via small monthly donations, instead of single large yearly donations.

For example I do monthly donations at two other places, and put funds aside for my own website every month. If you totalled it into yearly numbers, that would be almost $700 dollars. $750 if I included a yearly donation here.

So I spread it out over the year. $67 a month I can budget for. $750 in big chunks would be rough

But as the donation system currently seems to work, it encourages people to not do small monthly donations if they want the benefits of the +package.

So I thought I would suggest the idea of a monthly recurring donation option.

Thank you for your suggestion. While we understand and appreciate it, at this time our current upgrade offerings are going to remain as is. However, we have considered it before, and may consider it again in the future.
