Long story short, a kid I tutor/mentor decided to buy a couple of lizards (probably inadvertantly inspired by my herp collection), his mother freaks when he brings them home and now I have them.

He was told the were desert lacertas, but doing an image search I believe one is an Acanthodactylus pardalis (aka Leopard fringe-fingered lizard) and the other Acanthodactylus scutellatus (aka Nidua lizard). Currently I have them housed in a ten gallon together (seeing I wasn't prepared for them) they seem to get along well. I am keeping them under the same conditions I do my leopard geckos since they are desert species.

Does any one know anything about their care? Particularly if they need UV lighting.

Thanks in advance for any help.
