About to molt?

I know this might seem obvious to experienced tarantula owners, but I've only had my avicularia metalica for four months. When I bought her, she was sold to me as a juvie and I was told that she was still growing. The last time she molted was about a week after I got her.

Right now, she has "buried" herself in her web and has not eaten in about a week. Is this a sign that she's about to molt again, and more importantly, is this normal?

It could be that she just isn't hungry, but it is perfectly normal premolt behavior. My Avic. sp. hasn't eaten since I got her a month ago & has a web hammock near the ground. She's having fun keeping me waiting :D

A week isn't a big deal. Sometimes T's go for periods without eating for seemingly no reason. It's possible she's in premolt, but it's also possible she's just not hungry. :D
