I recently saw an ad on a reptile forum giving away two pet rats.

(They were serious, honest.)

I have seen it too, not all rats brought end up as feeders, some turn out to be really amazing, or come in a cool fur color, so people keep them as pets. But on a reptile site, its the buyers you need to worry about...

I saw a video of a bullfrog eating a smaller bullfrog, but please dont that, the mouse was bad enough even though bullfrogs eat mice and birds in the wild, along with small snakes.

Yes this girl had a long list of meals, garter snakes, anoles, house geckos, mice, lare dragonflies, frogs, and a few thousand crickets.

That was a very interesting vid, it amazes me how aggressive frogs can be :)

Did you have the bullfrog since a tadpole? Alot of people that buy/catch bullfrog tadpoles have a hard time getting the newly metamorphosised frog to eat, I heard a good starter are fruit flys and pinhead crickets.

No actually I was driving down the road during a massive migration, road was covered in them, and the car in front of me wasnt being as careful as I was and she nailed her, breaking her leg, so I caught her and put her in my 120 jungle tank. her leg seemed to completely heal within days, then i kept her around.

you should check out adult pacmans too! Talk about aggressive and BIG... They lunge at hands and just about anything else that move4s around them.

They take middle sized crickets from the get go if they are small ones. Sometimes you get some that when they become froglets are already big enough to take full sized crickets and I'd bet a small mouse too.

I had a bullfrog froglet that could have taken adult crickets or a pinkie mouse, got it from petco, it was huge as a tadpole, and I mean huge!
