The lighter colored larger one on top is a female Eurycantha horrida the one on the bottom Eurycantha calacarata, a female. I had a friend post the pic in her gallery for me as I dont know how to post pics. She is part of a pair that are laying eggs now!

Cool beans! I didn't know that horrida's were in the hobby, but it's good that somebody is finally breeding them! (lol, that's a funny title for this thread btw) {D

Sorry Digby my Boy but your WRONG

The specimen is actually a Eurycantha coriacea This species is similar to E. calcarata but is significantly smaller. They hatch brown, but from about the 2nd-instar they become greenish-yellow, until the final molt when they change back to darker greenish-brown. They are more active than calcarata.
It looks like your friend was playing tricks on you man.
The bottom is definately a Calcarata, but it is a sub adult female man, no where near breeding size, a breeding size Calcarata female is very thick in body and as big as your hand, I just sold a breeding pair.

If you dont believe me you can check fro yourself, an assiciate of mine runs this web site that lists many species of Phasmids and that one is not a Horrida, That i should know as well being that i had them in my posession, but thats another story that some of you may be familiar with.

Yours truely
