I picked up a 1.5 inch PP today at a pet store. She seems quite thin, her abdomen much smaller then her mid section (like about half the size) She ate a cricket immediately after offering it to her. My question is how often should I offer her a meal while she is this thin? Thanks!

I've written this so many times it's becoming tiresome......a thin abdomen is NOT something to worry about, it's not a sign of starvation or neglect, it's just a sign of a recent molt.....being thin is part of the growth process for spiders, they're always at their thinnest just after molting.....It's nothing to panic about, there is no rush to fatten it quickly.....just feed normally and it will plump up in time, then it will molt and the process will start over.

Just be patient. ;)

Raised many of these. Excellent feeding response better than a GBB! I don’t feed T on schedule. I feed when they are hungry. This species will plump up like big fat tic-tac.

Yes I agree with cold blood that there’s no need to freak out about skinny abdomen as it’s part of their cycle, and no need to also feed at a higher rate. They will plump up overtime.
