I came across this little guy at a local pet store and decided that I needed to have him. Here is a pic I thought I would share.

Kool, I thought I looks like a PZB but then again I don't know whether chacos develop their golden stipes when they're older..

Yeah, it doesn't look much like G. aureostriata to me, either. It looks a lot like either A. seemani or E. campstreus.

Any way to get some closer shots?

How big is it?

BTW - congrats on the new addition!

A. seemani would be my guess too, that looks too dark to be a chaco and the long hairs of their abdomens are normally more grey. The ones on that spider look almost red. :?

It looks a llot pinker than mine, but that could just be the picture. I bought my first T labeled as a PZB, and at this time, I'm pretty sure it's a chaco. I could be wrong though. Waiting for the next molt to find out.

I know the guy that got it pretty well, I am posative its a chaco. If you look close enough you can see the gold knees slowly starting to show up, well thanks for the compliments.

I forgot to mention the size, it's about 1.5 inches. I will try to post a closer pick later today.

Aureostriata's are such pleasant little critters. I have a youngin about the same size, but I get the impression they don't grow quite as fast as I have heard.

I was under the impression the Chaco's are slow growers. Well none the less I love this little guy to peices and cannot wait to see him grow into adult colors.

Are you measuring body span or leg span?
