Don't mind me...

I am just ranting about how tomorrow is a "holiday" so the post is closed, which means all 9 of my Ts that I am expecting this week... I must wait another day for! :wall:

It's quite torturous... but don't worry, I think I'll live {D

So, lesson learned... next time, before I order Ts, I am going to make sure there is no random holiday in the middle of the week. :embarrassed:

Rant over.

I forgot too. I just finished getting a few spiderlings into straws and packing a box full of molts only to realize I won't be shipping anything tomorrow. I would have liked to have realized that about an hour earlier.

It would have been more enjoyable if I wasn't so tired. I think unpacking the straws is just as much work as getting them in there in the first place. Though I only had one teleport from the straw and end up on my arm.

Not so fast! I'm in the same boat as you, except it's only 1 T and not 9. But it was a pricey one so I'm more than a bit antsy! Err, tarantuly, I mean.

I have two orders on their way right now, and was wondering why the tracking wasn't updating. Who's ever heard of a holiday in the middle of the week?

I ordered some more yesterday, and opted to have them shipped out next Monday...

if there turns out to be another random damn holiday in the middle of NEXT week... things ain't gonna be pretty! LOL

Tarantuly... LOL great word!

Seriously, jayefbe... a holiday, on a Wednesday! A holiday that MOST people have to work, but then the important things like posts and ... and posts! are closed! lol

The first thing I did this morning was grab the phone and groggily dial the number for the post to see if I had packages yet... OH WAIT, that's right, they're closed :wall: Back to sleep for another hour or two it is then!

Just because today is a holiday (brought to you by Hallmark and FTD) didn't stop the cargo from coming in, nor having to get up at 5 this morning to dredge my lazy butt to work to offload it.

What's funny is that Memorial Day is like the same thing, but with nice weather, camping, BBQ's, and all the amenities. Veteran's Day is in the middle of crappy-weather, cold, and flu season. Those fortunate enough to get the day off (ie: the Postal Dis-service, and the banks), aren't going to be able enjoy it all that much.....

I think the "holidays" like memorial day, columbus day, veteran's day, are used as a government cost-cutting measure.

I didn't even realize it was a holiday today until after I was out of work and had a time to sit down surf a little. Ups delivered two packages (non-critters) to me today making it even harder to get it that today was considered a holiday.

Not quite correct,

In the U.S., President Woodrow Wilson commemorated the first Armistice Day in 1919. It was made a national holiday via an act of Congress in 1938.

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month......just to help you mail orderers remember next year.

And perpetuated, and sponsored in part by the greeting card companies of America, LOL.

Considering Mr. Wilson instituted the Central Banking system in this country, it stands to reason the banks would adhere to this Congressional act. So, why are the disgruntled postal workers of America jumping on their band-wagon?? People need their T's for god's sake!!!!! :p
