shy P. regalis:

look at those legs! :p

C. fasciatum...by far my most skittish spider, he made me much more nervous when re-housing than my regalis lol:

Nice pics! The C. fasciatum is definitly bright! I know they can be skittish, I have a friend who had one run up his arm, through the arm hole in the shirt and come out through the neck hole, twice!!!! It was quite funny!

Very nice David~~!

I love all of them. I have a A. metallica adult female just molted..that I will be trying to find a mate for. They are nice Avics!

I just got a 5" P. regalis semi-adult female. She is gorgeous as yours is!

I just got rid of my Tiger Rump........ She was pretty just as most of them are. I will be getting more in the future!

Take care and once again..nice pics and T's!

Its actually one of my calmer spiders. I don't handle them, but the regalis is less 'spazzy' than the others.

Nice pics.

Just out of curiosity...do you have any other pics of your regalis? Specifically ventral shots...I ask because your's doesn't have the colors I'm used to seeing on regalis.

Everytime I see pics of a C.fasciatum, I want to get one of the slings my buddy has to replace mine that passed away...but I really want to wait until they're a bit bigger, and now I don't know if I can hold out.

Thanks for sharing.

I don't have any ventral pics....but I can try to get some today. The regalis is about 2.5" so it is still fairly small...it has not been eating for me and the abdomen has turned really dark, so I'm thinking it may be coming up on a molt.

As soon as I made the above post, I went and checked on my critters....and found that my regalis had molted last night lol...

What great timing huh?

I asked about ventral pics, because I've never seen a regalis with that type of coloring.

And now that you posted pics of the molt, I'm leaning even more towards your pokie not being a regalis, because I don't see any yellow warning bands. :?

Does she have the cream band underneath? Thanks again for sharing.

I'm fairly certain its a regalis....I bought it from Botar, so if he says its a regalis, thats what I'll call it lol. It is my understanding that they don't get the yellow warning bands until they adults/sub-adults, but I could be wrong.

If Botar says it's a regalis, then that's good enough for me.

Momma was a regalis and papa was a regalis... it's a regalis.

They don't show yellow or belly bands until they are larger.

Will you be at the Indy Show this month? If so, I'll be there to take home some more spiders! :D

I thought papa was a rollin' stone?

I thought he posted that it was 5"...but then I looked back and it was someone else (ChrisNCT), that just got a 5", so that's my fault for missing where he said 2.5".

My apologies for confusing you David, and thanks for clearing it up Botar.
