Sorry about the quality guys; I only have a cheap digital camera to work with at the moment. This first guy was sold to me as Grammostola aureostriata, but I'm thinking A. seemani. Any ideas? How about sex? It's about 3" right now. (He's dirty because I just removed the hide he was under.)

This is the 4" C. huahini I just got (been eating like a horse!)
I couldn't get him to pose for a ventral shot, so I'm not sure on sex.

I think I'll name him cuddles:razz:

I tried to get pics of my little H. Maculata (also eating like a horse), but he runs down his little burrow whenever I get near him...lol

It wants a hug!

H macs are so hard to get pics of... well, at least when they're spiderlings/juvies... I've got 5 juvies right now and have learned they are very quick and elusive. The one adult I took care of, though, had a hide but would come out frequently and was easy to get pics of as she'd kinda just freeze whenever I opened the top of her container.

Anybody have any ideas on the sex of the Seemani (if that's what it is)?

It looks like an A. Seemanni. It also looks like it might be female.....but I am still new at sexing. Mine is a female so I go by my comparisons.... :p

If s/he has boxing glove padipulps, then you have a male

Anybody else have thoughts on sex and a positive I.D. (refer to my original post)? I know it's not the most colorful or exciting pic. to look at, but I'm just looking for some help here.

Nobody else? O.K., I guess I'll have to wait until I have a better camera and more colorful and rare T's......

Thanks, they are the first T pics I have ever taken, and it was with a basic camera. I hope to someday have the equipment and skill to take great pics like some others on the board.
