It's been raining all day here, so i decided to send a bit of time with the camera and some of my collection. I hope you like them. I hadn't really seen the Encyocratella olivacea for a while, they had webbed up their vials so much that i couldn't see in. It was a nice suprise, they are great looking spiders.

Thanks Becca. Yes, i'm pretty sure it is gravid, the problem is, i haven't found it a mate yet.

:? Huh? :? :rolleyes: :liar: How can it be gravid without a mate? Do we need to tell you the story about the cabage patch? :liar:

did it ever cross your mind that it could be a WC specimen ;) it could have also been purchased from someone who mated it and got rid of it ;) these are just a few scenarios that i can come up with.

I'm pretty sure she is full of eggs, but that they aren't fertilised yet. I've had it since it was a juvenile, so they definitely wouldn't be fertile. If she isnt mated, i supect she will produce an infertile eggsac, or reabsorb the eggs.
