What temps do you keep the argentines at? I hear they prefer cooler temps than other boa constrictor.

I'd like to see better pictures of the stripe retic.

This I may be able to do. I'll get some of her when I take her out for feeding tonight. Until then, here are some of her when she was younger. She's somewhat of an interesting import. She originally looked so much like a sunfire, that I was given a number of offers to buy her from me. (This was back when sunfires were a bit more expensive). Then instead of getting that airbrushed look of sunfires, she changed colors and now has a color similar to some of the other morphs. I think she's just a pretty import, but we'll know this year if there is any genetic component to her color and pattern.

Yeah the lines are too fine for the sunfire and her current color is more similar to a platinum than it is to a sunfire....but that seems to change every few months. Whatever she is she's beautiful. The closest thing I could find to her were a few aberrant striped retics on a Malaysian exporters website. They had a few that were dead ringers for her. They claimed their snakes were co-dominant and had a homozygous dominant ("super") form that looked a bit different. Time will tell. Until I see her offspring I'm not getting my hopes up too much. Either way, a great $75.00 purchase. The seller swore she was CB, but the dehydration, lack of feeding response, emaciated look, and all other signs pointed to her being a fresh import. She took some work, but she recovered nicely I'd say.
