Cool spiders and snake. A. geniculata and P. ornata are both on my wish list. Your photos are really clear too, makes them look great!

In answer to your question I know that in England there are no species of tarantula that are banned. Some species of true spider you have to have a Dangerous Wild Animal Licence, but not tarantulas. I think in some states in the US all tarantulas are banned, though I don't know which ones, and I'm not sure about other countries.

As far as tarantulas banned in the US, there are some places where exotic pets are altogether banned (New York city being an example).
The only place I can think of where specific tarantulas are banned is in Florida, where Phormictopus and I believe (though I could be wrong on this one) Avicularia are banned.

I dont think there are any states in the United States where tarantulas are banned altogether. Heck, they are local wildlife in many of the South and Southwest states. There may be local areas, cities or towns, that have ordinances in place preventing ownership but I have not heard of them either. I know here in Kansas it is legal to keep any species of T.
