this is a sumatran short tail aka black blood python. He's a real drama queen...usually puts up a big 'hissy' fit when I touch him but as soon as I pick him up he calms down.

there are 3 ball pythons in this photo...1 yr old, 3 yr old, 12 yr old

albino burm....this girl is a sweet pea. She has a great temperament, she's very curious, active, yet placid.

a few mugs of my guyana red tail. I never noticed the beauty marks until I took this picture:)

the last two pics were taken by me the rest were taken by a very talented photographer, Alex Wilson.

hey Highlander, its just snakes for me...I like lizards and frogs alot too and have thought of keeping certain species of those, but they require more maintenance. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to accomodate them with their needs. If I could, I'd keep Argentina Horned frogs(pacmans) and Nosey Be Blue Chams. :)

...

I just LOVE how the coloration keeps going on the eye, talking about the last snake. Its so cool that the eye has the same stripping.

thanks guys:)
Zombie, its the feeding everyday thing that makes me hold off on these animals. I realize the pacman isn't hard to care for but I don't want to commit myself to an animal that I can't leave alone for a week without worrying about it(when travelling). Plus, I'm very busy and two house feedings a week plus clean up is all I want to deal with.
I see nothing but snakes and inverts in my future...I admire the rest from afar. :)

Hey Yve.
If you can get your hands on an older one, one around 3-4 inches +, they would be fine with a pinky, fuzzy or adult mouse (depending on size) once a week with a pinky/fuzzy, or twice a month with a mouse.

But yeah, I know where you are coming from.
Everytime I catch myself admiring or considering another pet, I question my sanity, as if I need another mouth to feed and cage to clean.

Hehehehe...
AND...
You don't even have to feed them rodents.
We had a mascot Pacman (lovingly refered to as Lunchbox (movie trivia anyone?))
that would eat about anything you put in front of his face, including pizza, shrimp, chicken nuggets, ect. Watch out for their front teeth, I have a scar.
