She came about 2" too close to nailing my hand that was resting on the top of the tank. Bad mistake

Nice male and female! Just wondering.... how big is the female? Also how quick do males grow compared to females? Great tarantulas! I have a sling.

Thanks for the replys! Yes Bud, thats her!! Shes gorgeous! She is around 7".

This is another addition to my kings, my other girl is close to 9". Shes a sweet heart too!

Sweet!! I thought that looked like her! I'm glad to hear she made it o.k. to you. Everytime I ship one out I get paranoid and start worrying if I added enough packing, padding, did I put the right zip on the label... I'm the guy that never worries about anything too, my wife worries enough for the both of us . When I ship that box out though and I know that the safe delivery is out of my hands, I start sweatin'!
Wait, did you say 9"?!!!! I've never seen a crawshayi that big, whoa! I knew mine (well, yours now) still had some growing left but I thought they usually top out at around 8".
Must be somthin' in that Oklahoma water!

hah...yeah didnt you know Ok water is full of indian pee, and tears. remember every time someone litters an indian cries! but only out of one eye. hahah...sorry i couldnt resist my wifes family live in drumright and stillwater and bartlesville. they told me that joke or fact...i dont know which it is:? nice KB though wish i had one that big!

Thanks, but I can't take credit for raising that beast. She was already 6" when I brought her home! Now Austin is gonna add a few more inches to her and hopefully, a few big, heaping, healthy eggsacs!
