Me and my daughter were out enjoying the beautiful weather today when I came across this rock that caught my eye. I saw some legs sticking out from under it!!! Well I grabbed a deli cup, a piece of grass and a stick and started fishing. I lured this 4 1/2" female A. anax to the mouth of her burrow several times but could never get her all the way out. I finally got her out as far as I could and went in behind her with the stick and boom caught her. She is beautiful!!! After we caught her we looked around and saw tons of other burrows just begging to be "fished". We tried another one but whatever was in there wasn't a T, it looked like a huge wolf spider or something so we didn't bother with it. Well here's some pics of the burrow, me fishing, and finally the trophy. Hopefully the pics will come out ok, my camera girl was trying her best.
