Well he molted a little over a month ago and has just now started eating. He had been eating pinkies, but I'm out so he got his first fuzzy last night. The first 3 pics are right after he started, the last 2 are the next morning.

how did you get him to eat a F/T fuzzy? Just curious because I may try this at a later date.

Well he was very hungry. I dropped a cricket to see if he was eating yet and he flew over his plants and tackled it, so I thought hmmm, he seems hungry. I thawed out the fuzzy and laid it near him a little later. I came back in 5 or 10 minutes and he was munching away. Funny thing is his abd. doesn't look much bigger, but two third of the fuzzy is gone.

Are you sure that's a male? It looks a lot like a female to me due to how bulky it looks.

Yep, he molted about a month ago and I got a really good look at it. It was pretty evident even with the molt prior to this one. He is pretty bulky though. Here's a pic of the most recent molt.

Mature males typically will appear skinnier than their female counterparts. However, there is little to no sexual dimorphism until the maturing molt.

I have a large female that is only a year or so old. Last molt and she is almost 6"! Perhaps one day! {D
