I saved this poor guy about 3 years ago from a cruddy petshop. It was even labeled as a "Striped Knee"! It was very weak when I bought it (for 10 bucks). I took the pictures a week later after a few good meals. The most recent photo was taken 2 weeks ago and I believe he is one molt away from maturing.

After seeing the first two pictures I was gonna respond to the tone of you should have left it in the shop. Glad I took the time to view the third picture instead. My hat is definitely off to you! Great job at giving the little guy/gal a deserved chance at a turn-around. The great care you gave this T is obvious in the last picture! :worship:

Happy ending

I am so glad you bought him. One thing I hate is mistreatment of animals. I am definitely glad to see that things have turned around. The guy that was responsible for that type of mistreatment should be castrated with a rusty knife!

I too would be interested in knowing where you got this. You might consider posting that under "petstore reviews" on this site. Nice work though.

And for being as easy as it is to care for the types of T's that most pet shops get there is no excuse for that kind of treatment.

Great job.

I truely admire this. Hats off to you. I would of felt horrible leaving him in there too. As BLS Blondi said, I hate seeing mistreated animals. Irks me big time.

Anyhow, He looks great now! Good job!
