Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I'm planning to 3d print a decoration piece for my T (Mexican Red knee). The material will probably be either PLA or ABS. I'm leaning more towards ABS so that I can acetone smooth it.

Are these materials safe for Ts? I'm getting very mixed responses and thought I'd post here and see if anyone has 3d printed anything for their Ts and if so what material did you use?

Thanks

The pla or abs material is fine. The acetone, not so much.
Thanks for the info. With regards to the acetone if I let it air out for a week or 2 do you think that would be enough? I know acetone evaporates fast so I'm hoping that it should be more than enough time

I'm a newbie but I've heard of people using a cricket to test the safety of different materials for inverts. Called the cricket test... maybe put it into a cricket enclosure for a few days?
