2nd instar Phidippus Audax

Just wanted to post some pics of my pet baby Audax. I love its coloration with the orange white and black. This was after a recent molt where it looked sort of like a Habronattus with the white Audax markings. Its eating really well and took 2 houseflies today. I believe its 2nd instar based on other videos and photos I found. When it hunts it reminds me of a little jaguar or leopard.

It is pretty tiny, I zoomed in pretty far. It looked completely different before this molt without any of the Audax characteristics it has right now. I may be wrong but I thought that all came with the 2nd instar? It didn't have any noticeable hairs before this and looked very much like a Habronattus which are also common to my yard.

Actually you are probably right it's probably 3rd or 4th instar based on the the pics I'm looking at now.

If it got two flies without problem, it's definitely beyond the second instar. I'm talking like fruitfly tiny. Yours looks a little over 4mm just by comparing stuff in it's terrarium.

You are right it's probably 3rd or 4th instar like you said. As far as I know we only have Audax and Johnsoni native to my area and I have never seen a Johnsoni just Audax in my yard. Is there a chance this is not an Audax? It def looks like one based on the markings and the green chelicerae.
