I have a 29 gallon aquarium that I will eventually use for either my T. Blondi or my L. parahybana or possibly a C. crawshayi that I hope to get soon. My blondi and L. parahybana are in the 2-3" range.

For those of you that have these adult species, which one would get the most use of the space this tank would provide?

You would probably see the blondi or parahybana more often than you would see a crawshayi, so I would say whichever one gets to 7" the fastest (of the blondi/parahybana).

I agree. C crawshayi are mainly burrowers. Blondi and parahybana you can usually always see.

C. crawshayi needs room to burrow, so a 29 gallon long wouldn't be the most appropriate choice.

You could always split it into two or three sections and keep several Ts in there. If you have the room, then it'd be fine for a full-grown T. blondi or L. parahybana.

If it is a 29 gallon long tank get a divider and put two spiders. If it is a 29 gallon high fill it halfway with substrate and do the crawshayi.

could'nt agree more, its a waste of space, divide it in 2 part, then you can put 2 big spider, they will have PLENTY of space
