2 Monitor questions

What are the most cold tolerant monitor lizards?
&
Are any of them known to brumate for long periods of time like tegus?

Off the top of my head I'd say Varanus rosenbergi is the most cold tolerant.

I'd suggest grabbing the book: Varanoid lizards of the World (edited by Eric Pianka and Dennis King). It provides a large amount of information about numerous species including many you won't see in the hobby. It should also provide information you need about home range and annual cycles.
