Cyst, tumor, abscess--all words used to describe this phenomenon in the tarantula hobby. May be from a prior injury. I haven't seen a definite diagnosis for this health anomaly. The t will either molt out of it or it will prove fatal. Seems to be a problem for older ts.

Just keep an eye on it see if it gets worse it’s a minor cyst or a healed injury. The t should be fine though it’s not too big . Nevermind it was answered after me. :rofl: :D

You bumped a thread from 2003 over freckels?? I don’t know what they are none of my Ts have any . Prob just a regular skin condition. Now if it were a cyst I’d worry .
