I would provide water and as mentioned before leave it alone. My C. lividus had similar injury and it released its leg, than the leg grew slowly back with each molt.
...the relatively small size of the T, but it doesn't look good.
In more positive news, my Scolopendra sp. "Mahalona" pling underwent its second molt with me today.
Edit: The third and last of my three C. lividus sacmates also molted today. The fourth (non-sacmate) sling is still a long way...
Nothing concerning about that. Looks pretty good to me 👍😊

I'm not easily convinced or sold on the idea of color forms for C. lividus. If you told me they are from another locale then that's cool with me. But color forms is something people are using way too openly. From what I've seen in person, not all C. lividus "green/green femur/green...
There has been a variant of C lividus found on border of Cambodia that is known as 'Midnight Blue' sometimes labelled as Cyriopagopus sp. 'Cambodia' or Cyriopagopus sp. 'midnight blue'
Also,
C. lividus (Hua Hin District, Thailand) is 'Emerald Green'
C. lividus (Ta Yang, Thailand) is 'Green...
One of my 4 C. lividus slings (3 sacmates and a freebie I got from another breeder) has just molted. One of its sacmates molted the day before, and the third will any day now.

I know it's a lot but I find them beautiful and to be honest I don't really mind the bad attitude, although that may change with experience
...the current spring moltapalooza. Hopefully I can get both my everetti slings into the juvenile stage before winter sets in....
One of my C. lividus (out of four) molted today into its 3rd instar. Its two sacmates get into 2nd instar around a week after this one did, so I expect them to molt...
Also expecting a molt in the near future from one of my two everetti slings, one of my L. nigerrimum slings, all three lividus slings, and suspect female juvenile O. violacepes.
3 months in and my Cyriopagopus lividus seems to have settled into her new enclosure. I put in some foxtail moss expecting it to be dug up extensively but it seems to have built herself a turret and an extensive burrow under and over the piece of driftwood provided and decorated the entrance...
...molt). It's why I have multiples of many species in my collection, but even then I only have 2 individuals for most of those multiples (C. lividus and the new H. macs are trios), and I don't like buying more slings than I'm interested in just so I can increase my odds of getting a female.

...Fate" Having to use Extra the collecting the survivors.I wonder if the extra intrusion is adding stress. As for as Growth My H.gigas and C.lividus Grew extremely well/fast. But then again the are natural "Hiders" Thanks
I Agree Humidity is Definitely more work, The larger Air space dries...
You forgot to include the following species if you REALLY want color: ( if you own any of them )
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Nhandu chromatus
Pterinochilus murinus
Poecilotheria metallica
Cyriopagopus lividus
Monocentropous balfori
etc
One from yesterday that got especially dicey:
I was feeding one of my three Cyriopagopus lividus slings (got some pinhead crickets shipped in yesterday). Normally, the way I feed slings is to use a tiny deli container as a catch cup to catch a pinhead (using a tong to scare it into the catch...
