They offer the cheapest in state overnight shipping I've ever seen...you'd be hard pressed to find anything cheaper than the out of state overnight rate... but since I had other tarantula business to attend to in the area, I reached out and asked them to hold my order that I placed in the wee hours of the morning. I got a response within a few hours. I definitely spent more on gas driving to be in the area for a local pick up due to distance and the cheap shipping but I'm so glad I did.
They might spoil their Ts harder than I do. The tarantulas were housed in containers that will last a few molts...on substrate that I would equate to beastie mix...better than I give my own Ts. I bought a few very small slings that would crawl out of most predrilled Thornton vials...you can tell they tailored the containers based on husbandry demands of the species as well as the modifications made to accommodate the size of each specimen. They obviously invested a lot of time and concern and the end result appears to be thriving tarantulas.
My favorite: The specimens had each made their home a home with evidence of burrowing and webbing. They are as happy as a non-sentient invertebrate could possibly be.
My advice: if you see something you want, don't hesitate. Inventory appears to move fast because of their prices.
