Zygiella x-notata

I found this little guy outside of a female Steatoda nobilis' web. However, it doesn't look like a male Steatoda nobilis to me, but I could be wrong. You can't really tell from the picture, but it is definitely a male as its pedipalps are very bulbous. Found in Southern California.
@Greasylake Yeah I was thinking that or a Parazygiella sp.
I didn't see an orb web nearby though and I thought it was weird it was near the S. nobilis' web, but it does look like one of those species.
 
A lot of Orbweavers eat their webs at night and re spin them before morning. Probably caught it in the middle of that.
