Wondering What Species?

Is this a Acanthoscurria Geniculata, Nhandu Chromatus or a Nhandu Coloratovillosus?
Yes sorry I meant to add that one over the Chromatus. Was bought as a A.Geniculata unfortunately.

Still a good sp to keep ppl knock Nhandu but I keep 2 the caraponensis and chromatis atm and have fell in love with them they are just as crazy as an A geniculata put on good size with moults, grow fast and have a real strong feeding response. I plan on getting more of this genus as they are the best kind of bold 😊. And here in the uk they are about the same price so hopefully where you are you didn't loose too much. Give your little one time you're disappointment will soon disappear I promise 🙂

I'm fairly new to keeping tarantulas and just the skittishness of this one and it bolting has me a little nervous is all. It's a juvi about 3" and it loves to bolt around when disturbed. Definitely can confirm it loves to eat lol

Yes they are a little flighty when smaller but remember they're in a totally new environment give them time to get used to the vibrations of you n your house and they will eventually calm a little and you will get used to their quick movements 😊 my chromatis is very bolty but even at 1.5 inches is out all the time till I touch the enclosure then bolt to their burrow but my caraponensis Namaari she hit 4 inches on her last moult and is no longer as bolty as she was she will stand and wait for food now when I touch her viv she only started bolting to her burrow again 2 weeks ago when she went into premoult and started refusing food . Don't worry they are a little fast but it's nothing you can't handle 🙂 I like to believe things happen for a reason and you were clearly ment to get this little one 😊 and tbh my geniculata are just as bolty as my Nhandu and I have 3 geniculata too . Infact my sub adult male geniculata Humbug is the only t that has flung its self at me as I was removing un eaten food and ended up 20cm up my 30 cm tongs with teeth out so a bolty Nhandu may be better 🤣
