Did you use “potting soil” as in specifically used for plants/gardens/flowers? If so most of all of any soul made for plants is toxic to spider as it includes fertilizers and other chemicals like surfactants. And if it is potting soil you’re going to need to replace it, with topsoil, or make your own substrate mix (this is what I do)

I have been trying to find the exact species of wolf spider that this female is and according to my state of lists of spiders, she is a Wetland Giant Wolf Spider
