Picked this pretty thing up from the local reptile lps here Saturday. She was labeled as a " S A Tarantula sp." (South American = SA). Any ideas I'm at a complete loss here lol.
I'd say Eupalaestrus campestratus.
The striation on the patellas makes it inconsistent with an LP in my opinion.
An LP would also have an overall more gray look than this, which is brown, unless this is an LP in dire need of a molt. If such is not the case, I'd say pzb. An LP would also have noticeably pink hairs. We can't really see one way or the other in this picture. An LP's prosoma looks to be a little more circular, whereas this mystery T has something of an elongated head.
