Looks very similar to some Ceratogyrus darlingi I have about that size, but it's probably too small to say for sure.

Looks like a possible Ceratogyrus darlingi.
If it is darlingi, it will get to around 15cm, but you require a permit to keep them in SA btw.

Permit is a must. You can get fined up to R20 000 for one
