Sold as a baby from a pet store as psalmopoeus cambridgei, which definitely doesn't look like. Has never acted arboreal, though I believe when young that's common? Lastest molt and hasn't changed much, very dark and hairy, nothing like a cambridgei.

Brachypelma and Tiltocatl are both great species. I would have them over a Cambridgei any day of the week.

Yeah I'll enjoy her, especially being timid. I have a Brachypelma Vagans for many years so I've been trying to vary, which is why I went the Cambridgei.
I am curious how little it was and in which decade you started to suspect it was not a psalmopoeus. I'm totally kidding, I just had a good laugh at this. I love t albos and couldn't imagine a home without one. I have a mature male and a 1/4" sling that would make great company watching paint dry, degrade and chip away from the hands of time, and still be the same size. I love this story.
