Unidentified Tiger Beetles from Okinawa

Could you get a better picture of the elytra? I can't tell for sure because the picture isn't too good, but I'm thinking they're Cicindela punctulata.

What's the coloring on those guys in natural light? Maybe Cicindela japonica?

@BobBarley No way. I'd like the OP to get a better picture. I'm looking for two rows of little pits on the elytra. If I can see those I'll know for sure they're Cicindela punctulata.

@Jerry LOL I was like 10 back then and I only wanted them as pets. When I finally caught them in my last year in Okinawa they died in approximately 4-10 hours lol.

@Tenevanica The beetles are about 4-5 years old lol. But they look around the same. I will post a closer pic in a minute .

I had a lot of such bug pets when I was that age I know exactly what your talking about LOL
