I have lots of Theraphosa, the apophysis is actually the prettier of all 3 species IMO. Deeper color in general, and full set of longer red hairs on abdomen whereas stirmi and blondi only have the final 3rd with longer hairs. The apophysis can look dainty when compared to blondi/stirmi. Which sounds daft for something that easily attains circa 10inch in captivity ha ha
