She's gorgeous, but growth speed hasn't been great in my experience. Feeding response is ok at best, but she lives up to the species reputation of docile and calm.
Overall, I believe every collection isn't complete without one of these, but unlike pulchra for eg, I wouldn't keep 10 of em.
You're absolutely right, the species in general makes for a great pet. I still do care about the differences out of curiosity though. For example, I heard most Nicaraguan curly hair Ts are more skittish and/or defensive while the Honduran hobby form is calmer. Also that Nicaraguan ones are more fluffy which makes me curious as to why these difference exist (if they do at all, cause they could be simply different individuals acting differently). Like is the Nicaraguan form more representative of wild curly hairs? Or is it a different subspecies?
