You cannot ventral sex freshly molted tarantulas as the mark on males on the epiandrous fusillae are not visible for freshly molted tarantulas. Meaning that freshly molted males and females will have identical ventral if freshly molted. So you have to wait for it to harden up from the molt to ventral sex it accurately.
Just checked on her today, she is solid blackish blue now. No as translucent as yesterday.
Again I did not see a dot but her furrow is a little more prevalent now. I am definitely going to have to wait until its next molt. Violaceopes has always been a hard one for me to sex.
