Somehow I did not see this, but this species that you're looking at goes by many names in the hobby.
They are known Ornithoctonus sp. Purple Zebra, Cyriopagopus sp. Purple, Melopoeus sp. Purple.
@NMTs These are speculated by some to be Melopoeus albostriatus "Ratchaburi" (Ex. Cyriopagopus albostriatus "Ratchaburi"). But I don't think it's a good idea to label them the same as these. Because these species location of origin are unknown and most likely not collected from Ratchaburi, Thailand. But I could be wrong. The first imports of the Purple Zebra came in 2023. Which was after M. albostriatus "Ratchaburi" imports. Not too sure when the Thailand imports from Ratchaburi came in, but it was before the Purple Zebra. I hope someone has these answers because I only know what I know.
I used to think they were just a really nice looking C. albostriatus "Ratchaburi" back then, but now I'm not sure...
I saw a few of the Purple Zebra in-person and they're basically very similar to the M. albostriatus but with like C. natanicharum (Ex. Chilobrachys sp. electric blue) electric blues to their shine. They're amazing looking, but who knows what they are? They could be the same as M. albostriatus, but I hope someone can identify them properly.
