Gimpy is now recovered! We had his injured/unrecoverable foot removed and it has since scarred over! Fortunately or unfortunately the vessels and nerves are all fully functionable in his upper leg so...he will not be using it to walk or jump obviously. But hes relearning how to get around!!
Ps.thanks to all who gave advice on treatment and care!! luckily I found an exotic vet who looked at him and deemed him a strong little amphibian! And had the guts to snip off his foot w/ a pair or steriziled scissors
