Very surprised to see 13 out of 15 of the originals still alive after the 9 month period, along with hordes of mancae. These were reportedly very difficult to keep in captivity and I still am not sure what I did right, but I will continue the routines I had for these.
Pumpkinhead Isopod is currently what they go by, no scientific research has been done on them as far as I know. Many before and after me have tried very hard to keep these isopods but all but I have failed, the only exporter collects them for people like me to try my hand at seeing if they can be kept in captivity.
It doesn't help that multiple physical attributes of the Pumpkinhead do not match any of the scientifically known Philippine isopods.
