Bought this from a local reptile store labelled as an Avic Avic. Does not look anything like my MM A. Avic. Would love help pinning species so I can inform the store about the two others they have.
Your MM is bound to have differing coloration than that of a sling of the same species. There really is no telling with pictures especially this one. Also I would replace the sponge with a water dish and give it a branch or some foliage to climb on. The sponge breeds bacteria and is pretty useless.
Let it molt a few times, I'm sure it will look like the others you saw.
Avic. avic. slings look like that so no one can tell you it's not what it was sold as.
