P. irminia 2/2 - Male, right?

I think so but may want a molt check on this one
I appreciate it. He/she is about 3 3 1/2 inches now. Is there anything that you’re seeing that might indicate female? I’ll check the next molt if I can get it. Unfortunately I’d have to destroy it’s incredibly elegant web tunnel to get the last molt

The spot you generally look for in most males isn’t very pronounced and the furrow is a little more pronounced than I’d expect in a male. The fact that you can make out a spot at all though makes me lean male
If it is a male that ultimate molt will be crazy drastic too. This genus has some of the most sexually dimorphic mature specimens out there. If it’s a male it could mature not much bigger than it is now. Probably anytime over 4-4.5

Thank you for the explanation. I really appreciate it!!
