I should note that the blindness/rescue wasn't because of neglect. This snake has been messed up since birth. A breeder I'm close friends with was downsizing because of the space Reuben's enclosure took up. I was the only one who would take him, or it was off to a pet store with the poor guy and with his defects he likely never would have sold. He's been more than happy with me though, and I with him. The reptile breeder I got him from now lives in the same building I do too, so supplies and care are not far away.
